Minoti was born in Mumbai, India. She has been writing songs since she was 11 years old and recorded her first professional demo at age 13. In 2010 Minoti released her first album The Fictional Truth. Secret Garden - her second full length pop album, was released on March 4th 2013. This album was almost 100% engineered, produced, composed, written and sung by Minoti herself.
